The College of Europe is going greenGiven the importance of addressing environmental challenges, the College of Europe has elaborated guidelines and actions to limit its impact on the environment. The environment-friendly measures of the College of Europe have been presented in a document which includes specific chapters on actions taken for both teaching and training activities but also chapters on the College’s general environmental policy.
Measures are taken at the College to guarantee, when possible, the sustainability of products, efficient consumption, waste reduction and green transport. Additionally, the Bruges’ campus of College of Europe receives gas from a 100% green company (Lampiris) and, as of January 2015, receives 100% green electricity thanks to a contract with EDF Luminus.
