New project award: The College of Europe continues to support the EU’s work on conflict prevention, peace mediation and dialogue
We are pleased to share that the College of Europe is part of the consortium selected by the European External Action Service for the new Framework Contract for Conflict Prevention and Mediation Support for the period 2026-2030.
The College of Europe is looking forward to working with the EEAS, in cooperation with Particip GmbH and all the consortium partners, Berghof Foundation, The Clingendael Institute, CMI — Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, and Conciliation Resources!
Building on the successful implementation of the previous phase of the framework contract, the consortium will continue to support EEAS.PCM.2 – Peace, Security and Defence Partnerships in advancing the EU's work on conflict prevention, peace mediation and dialogue support.
The framework contract aims to provide high-quality, timely and tailored expertise that can be mobilised rapidly in support of EU conflict prevention and mediation efforts.
Activities will include the deployment of specialised experts, knowledge management and analytical support, the development of best practices and guidelines, as well as training and capacity-building for EEAS staff, EU Delegations, CSDP missions and EU Special Representatives.
The College of Europe looks forward to contributing its expertise and working closely with the EEAS and consortium partners to support peace, mediation and conflict prevention initiatives worldwide over the next four years.
We are proud to continue this important collaboration and look forward to the positive impact the project will generate in the years ahead.
