Johannes Gutenberg Promotion on Study Trip Across Kosovo and North Macedonia
Our students spent last week, from 27 September to 2 October, on a Study Trip across Kosovo and North Macedonia, meeting with political leaders, EU representatives, civil society organizations, academics, and other local stakeholders.
From discussions on Kosovo’s European integration, the EU-facilitated dialogue and reconciliation, to conversations on North Macedonia’s EU accession, regional cooperation, and the country’s place in a changing geopolitical landscape, the Study Trip offered our students the opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of perspectives and experiences.
Our Johannes Gutenberg promotion visited key institutions and organizations, including the Assembly of Kosovo, the EU Office in Kosovo, EULEX, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, the Presidency and Government of North Macedonia, the Assembly and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, as well as Kasarna Hub in Ohrid.
Beyond the meetings and discussions, the Study Trip also offered opportunities to discover the history, culture, and local communities of Prizren, Prishtina, Skopje, and Ohrid.
A big thank you to all the institutions, organizations, speakers, and partners who welcomed our students and contributed to this enriching Study Trip.
